Title: Manager of Quality Assurance
Location: Medford
Cambium Learning is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance. This position is
fully responsible for managing the Hardware and Software Quality Assurance
function at Cambium Learning Technologies in Bedford, MA. The Manager of
Quality Assurance develops and maintains detailed test plans, procedures and
automated testing scripts. This position has the authority to make ship/no-ship
decisions on CLT software and hardware products based on thorough testing
results. This position also has the authority to set system requirements
(together with Engineering) for all new product releases.
Essential Responsibilities:

Investigation options for automated testing of Windows and OS X desktop
applications
-
Regular documentation of QA project status
-
Day-to-day management of QA staff and designation of responsibilities
-
Schedule QA resources according to Engineering and Test plans in order to help
predict and eliminate potential bottlenecks
-
Hands-on testing of CLT software (including installer programs for desktop
applications and cross-browser testing for web-based applications) and hardware
products.
-
Respond to technical questions and problems from customers and staff.
-
Ensure compatibility with third-party hardware and software devices through
regular competitive and cooperative testing (scanners, competing software
products, etc.).

Version regression testing and cross-platform testing to ensure the
compatibility of our proprietary file formats.

Ensure smooth rollouts of web-based product updates, typically via extended
hours on Friday nights and/or weekends.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-
Knowledge of Software and Hardware lifecycles, standard Quality Assurance
testing procedures, developing and maintaining Test Plans and Templates, and
hands-on testing experience for Windows desktop, OS X desktop, and web-based
applications is necessary to complete day-to-day operations.

Excellent organizational and communications skills are required. This position
interacts with CLT staff, the sales team, third party resellers and customers.

A Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (including
4+ years Managerial experience) are required.

Title: Solutions Consultant
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
The Solutions Consultant develops and delivers presentations for training
sessions based upon the company’s principles and methods. This position will
provide literacy training for products and services developed by Cambium
Learning/Sopris West and will be based in Providence, Rhode Island.
Essential Responsibilities:

Assist with creating a district plan for training and with benchmark planning
to monitor implementation based on student performance as determined by data.

Support applicable online assessment systems and technology products.
-
Provide teacher training, training for administrators and specialists, and
follow-up training.
-
Provide on site classroom coaching
-
Participate in ongoing development of initial teacher training and follow- up
modules.

As requested, develop follow-up and online training modules as prioritized by
the Cambium Learning Solutions leadership team.

Provide content support to Cambium Learning divisions/teams within Sopris West
as well as support to the Sales team.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of literacy, literacy interventions, data interpretation, and product
specific information is necessary to complete day-to-day operations.

and written.

Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Natick, MA

Purpose: This position is fully responsible for project managing the
development cycle of distance learning products; for implementing sound project
management processes and procedures; and for managing customer implementations.
Responsibility: Manages and documents the scope and sequence for
distance learning projects.

Coordinates technology scoping and design process by attending launch meetings,
gathering requirements, and documenting all facets of the project.

guidelines exist for most situations and judgment is required for choosing the
appropriate guidelines for varying circumstances.
Level of Contact: This position functions at Communication Level 2.
Position works closely with both internal and external parties to answer
questions and resolve situations.
Authority: This position is defined as an Individual Contributor and has
no supervisory accountability.
Interacts: This position has frequent internal contact with all facets of
the company, internal and external vendors.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Candidate should be skilled in leading
cross-functional and distributed teams on large initiatives. Skilled in
developing project documentation such as scope definition, work breakdown
structure, organizational breakdown structure, project plan, schedule, budget
and risk management. Experience in project management software tools (MS
Project or like) for project documentation and communication is essential.
Experience with ANGEL Learning and other learning management systems is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Excellent
organizational and follow up skills are required for project and budget
management. Strong people skills are important for interacting with staff,
vendors, and customers. Ability to work under and meet deadlines is also
important for professional success.
Organizational Chart: This position reports directly to, and is
supervised by, the Director of Product Management, Distance Learning. The
Director of Product Management, Distance Learning is the day-to-day source of
information and guidance, along with providing back up during your absence. The
Director of Product Management, Distance Learning provides technical guidance
and supervision.

districts throughout the U.S. The mission of Cambium Learning is to provide
curriculum and training leading to improved teacher and student performance.
The Controller position requires an experienced, energetic leader to manage the
accounting department in collecting, summarizing and interpreting financial
data for the use of management, creditors, investors, and taxing authorities.
This person is a hands-on accounting executive who works closely with the
company’s CFO and the executive team in accurately dissemination financial
management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly
financial statements, budgets and annual audits. This person is also
responsible for the management of the Accounting Department and oversees all
functions of billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting,
and corporate payroll.
Essential Functions:

Plan, organize, direct and control all accounting activity, including assets,
liabilities, transactions, payroll, cash management and budgets

Develop and manage the accounting system

Oversee all Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, and
Payroll functions

Supervise the accounting team to ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of
completion of all accounting responsibilities

Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all
systems, processes and data and enhance the Company’s value

Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for
an accurate accounting of consolidate business results

Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements
